A Historic Landmark
Café Evergreen calls home to the oldest building on US 41 between Venice and Tampa. Built in 1923, this beautiful structure served as the first Bank and Post Office in Sarasota County.
When we discovered this gem, we knew it was special. We've lovingly preserved its historic character while creating a warm, welcoming space where our community can gather and enjoy nourishing food.

No Fryer
We don't have a fryer on premises. Every dish is thoughtfully prepared using healthier cooking methods that preserve nutrients and flavor.
Low Sodium
We use 2/3 less salt than typical restaurants. We've proven that you don't need excessive sodium to create dishes with incredible depth of flavor.
Organic & Local
We source locally and choose organic ingredients whenever possible. No GMO, no preservatives. Just real food from real farms.
House-Made
Our sauces, soups, and dressings are made fresh daily in our kitchen. You can taste the difference that scratch cooking makes.
